Josh Nasser has Rugby flowing through his veins as the next Nasser looking to pull on the gold jersey.
Nasser is the son of former 1991 Rugby World Cup-winning Wallaby, Brendon, with sister Bella making her Olympic debut later in the month with the Sevens.
The hooker is starting to make his own name at the Reds after an injury-interrupted start to his career.
He debuted in 2020 before missing the majority of the 2022 and 2023 seasons with injuries. Nasser impressed behind Wallabies starter Matt Faessler enough to earn a call-up to the squad. He has continued to play a significant role for the Reds in the 2024 and 2025 seasons, with his three tries in the 2025 season enough to see him earn a call-up to the squad to travel to South Africa for the start of the Rugby Championship.
