Josh Nasser has Rugby flowing through his veins as the next Nasser makes his name in the gold jersey.
Nasser is the son of former 1991 Rugby World Cup-winning Wallaby, Brendon, with sister Bella skippering the World Champion Australia Sevens team.
But the hooker has made his own name at the Reds after an injury-interrupted start to his career.
Nasser originally came through as a tight-head prop, starting for the Junior Wallabies throughout their run to the 2019 U20 Rugby Championship.
He debuted at Super Rugby the following year before missing the majority of the 2022 and 2023 seasons with injuries.
Nasser impressed behind Wallabies starter Matt Faessler enough to earn a call-up to the Test squad under new coach Joe Schmidt.
He debuted in 2024 in the second Test against Wales in Melbourne, quickly earning a starting spot to face the Springboks in Perth.
The hooker scored his maiden try to finish the 2025 season against France, with his hard-work across the park making him a consistent selection at Test level.
