Joey Walton

Debuting in 2020, Joey Walton has established himself as a regular starting player in the centres for NSW. His consistent form earned invitations to Wallaby training camps and selection for the Australian XV which toured the UK at the end of 2024. A graduate of Wadalba High School, Walton’s rugby career ranges from Australian U18 and U20 representation, experience with the Gordon Shute Shield club as well as a short stint in the National Provincial Championship for the Bay of Plenty. He played in both Australian XV matches last year against Bristol Bears and England A. A variety of injuries have proved an unwanted companion in his Super Rugby career to date, but Walton remains resilient as he looks to season 2025.
