Flyhalf Jack Debreczeni was raised in Sydney, attending Trinity Grammar School. The Australian Schoolboys and West Harbour product earned his first Super Rugby opportunity with the Melbourne Rebels, where he made his debut in 2014 against the Waratahs. He made the move to Japan for a stint with the Honda Heat, before travelling to New Zealand to play for the Chiefs. Heading back to Japan in 2020, Debreczeni then played for the Hino Red Dolphins. Following his second trip to Japan, he returned to New Zealand, perfecting his craft in the NPC competition for Canterbury Rugby Club. 2023 saw Debreczeni approached by the Brumbies, where he has been ever since. That year he showcased plenty of standout performances, while reminding the competition of his playmaking prowess in Round 12 last year, as he guided the Brumbies to a crucial 29-21 win from the number 10 jersey in torrential rain at Allianz Stadium in Sydney. His best attributes are being able to control a game from the 10 position and his enormous boot out of hand.
