Hailing from a farm in Panuara in Country NSW, Grace Hamilton started playing Rugby on a University exchange in the USA. Growing up around Rugby with her family, Hamilton excelled in netball and athletics in regional NSW. Since joining the Sydney team in 2014, Hamilton has been one of the consistent performers. In 2016 she was selected in the Wallaroos squad to tour New Zealand, bringing some country toughness with Sydney experience to the team.
Hamilton was chosen to represent Australia at the International Women's Rugby Series in New Zealand and went on to be a star for Australia at the Women’s Rugby World Cup in Ireland.
After her form the previous year, it was no surprise Hamilton was a crucial player in the winning NSW Women’s Buildcorp Super W side in 2018. Her aggression and dominance on the field see her again selected in the Buildcorp Wallaroo’s squad to take on New Zealand in the upcoming Bledisloe Series.
