Corey Toole

Oscar Piastri wishes he could keep up with the ‘Toole Box’! The electrifying winger is pure acceleration and top-end speed - gone before defenders even know he’s there. 

Originally from Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Toole played his junior rugby with the Wagga Waratahs before progressing through the ACT schoolboys system. His raw pace and acceleration quickly caught the Brumbies’ attention, earning him a place in the Brumbies Academy and a call-up to the Australian rugby sevens program. 

The speedster represented Australia at the Commonwealth Games and the Sevens World Cup in 2022 before lining up at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. Returning to 15-a-side rugby, he made his Super Rugby debut for the Brumbies in Round 1 of the 2023 season. He ignited the 2024 campaign, establishing himself as the fastest man in Super Rugby Pacific, turning the field into a drag strip as he sliced past defenders and sent fans to their feet. 

Heading into the 2026 season, Corey remains a constant threat, capable of changing a match in seconds. With his rare mix of acceleration, composure, and finishing instinct, he’s set to light up Super Rugby Pacific once again.
