Rugby Xplorer
Have your say on Rugby Xplorer future development!
Learning Centre
- Rugby AU’s Learning Centre is currently closed for transition to a new platform.
- Tuesday 1 October: Rugby AU’s new Learning Centre will open. This can be accessed via your Rugby Xplorer profile, if you are registered with a club.
End of Season Development Requirement Gathering
- Rugby Xplorer is continually evolving, let us know what developments you would like to see implemented into the system.
- Your submissions will be collated and discussed with the Rugby Advisory Committee at the end of this year, where if they are agreed, they are prioritised and scheduled for development.
- The Rugby Advisory Committee is a group of representatives from all Member Unions who provide a voice for the clubs in their jurisdiction whilst providing clear directions and recommendations for the system.
- Submit your requirement here.
- Submissions close on Friday 25 October!
Rugby Xplorer Portal
- When players request a clearance, they must enter a reason. More information is found here.
- ‘Referee Ready’ is a new registration mandatory in all referee clubs. This has been setup nationally at $0 and will encourage potential referees to register to your referee club to access learning through the learning centre.
- This will drive the participant to the association prior to the course to understand who is interested in refereeing.
- Please note, these participants can only be added to appointment boards when they register as a match official.
Admin Portal
- Association admins will be unable to update or delete a match that:
- Includes team lists, movements, and/or competition cases.
- Marked as ‘result’.
- More information is available here.
- ‘Assistant coach’ has been added as a new non-playing member role.
- Club admins can add this role to registered members via the Non-Playing Management page. More information is available here.
- Competition managers can make this a mandatory team list role, with accreditation compliance, if required. Note, ‘assistant coaches’ should register as a ‘coach’.
- Tri Tag competitions have a try scored as 1 and/or 2 points, depending on the rules being played.
- Clubs and/or Associations can enforce a mandatory profile picture for all registrations.
- Note, if the association has turned this on, clubs are unable to disable it for their club.
- More information is available here.
End of Season Club Reminders
- Registration Refund Requests
- Have you reviewed all your ‘pending’ Registration Refund Requests in Rugby Xplorer? These need to be reviewed and actioned prior to the end of the season.
- The ‘Processing Refunds’ help article explains the process and requires all four entities (club, association, state and national) to review the request before it is processed.
- Note, if you are approving a ‘cash refund’ your entity card needs to be valid and have sufficient funds. The ‘Entity Card’ help article will detail how to update your entity card.
- Payment Settings
- We recommend that your club ‘closes’ any payment settings that are no longer open for this season.
- The ‘Payment Settings’ help article will assist with this process.
- User Permissions
- Are there any club users you need to remove? The ‘Remove Permissions’ help article will assist with this process.
- Club and association admin user permissions will continue into the next season. Team admin user permissions are archived in conjunction with teams, matches and competitions in the previous season as part of the season rollover process.
- Clearances
- Have you reviewed all ‘pending’ clearances?
- The ‘Processing Clearance Requests’ help article will assist with this process.
