• We have been working hard behind the scenes to upgrade our Rugby Xplorer app.
• Please download the new Rugby Xplorer app here.
• We have released the new RX app for beta testing and would love you to take a look and let us know what you think.
• Please submit feedback, issues, or suggestions via the following form (or, if on Apple, take a screenshot; when you press the tick in the top right, it will offer you the option to send Feedback to the developer).
• If you have an existing RX account, you can use your existing RX Username and Password. If you don’t, you can follow through the onboarding process, and it will create one for you.

• Referee Review Dashboards have been enhanced:
  • Individual tabs for Wellbeing & Club Behaviour, Coaching Reports, Team Coach Reports and each of the Referee Streams.
  • Can click through the Coaching and Team Coach Reports to view more detail about the individual report.
  • Referee Stream dashboards include an average at the top and then individual referee/referee coach detail in dashboards below.
  • Ability to add 10 more rows to see more referees/referee coaches.
  • Dashboards are shown with highest number at the top.
  • General dashboard navigation and enhancements.

• The Referee Send Off Report has been updated to include:
  • A new question, ‘was the player sent off on the advice of an Assistant Referee?’
  • Example grey text for all free text answers.
  • Links to the competition case when player is selected from list of available players.

• New Referee Coach Summary Report, which calculates the number of reports submitted and received by referee coaches.
• Competition Referee Fee Report has been updated to include any appointments that will be paid by the referee club, especially when there is multiple appointment boards assigned to a single match.

• Competition managers can change fixture date and time in bulk, as well as changed fixture status in bulk.
• Competition Management > Matches will now display the home team and away team scores.
• The match note explanation has been updated and restricted to 250 characters.

• There have been updates to your Rugby Xplorer password.
  • When changing your password via the Rugby Xplorer Portal, you need to enter the existing password before entering the new password.
  • New passwords must include at least 10 characters, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number, one special character and no spaces. The password cannot be one of your most recently used passwords.

• Updates to all websites to include a label for each status of match available, including postponed, cancelled, bye, forfeit and/or disputed.

• Thank you to everyone who submitted a development requirement. Your submissions are being collated and will be discussed with the Rugby Admin Advisory Committee in October. If they are agreed, they will be prioritised and scheduled for future development.

• 2026/27 Season Rollover dates are confirmed.
• Monday 7 December 9am AEST: registrations and admin access blocked.
• Tuesday 8 December: season rollover begins.
• Wednesday 9 December 9am AEST: admins will be able to access Rugby Xplorer.
• Wednesday 9 December 5pm AEST: registrations (if opened by your club) can begin.
• Please note:
  • Any Summer Competitions will need to be communicated via your Rugby Xplorer Advisory Committee representative.
  • Only events scheduled for January will be carried over during the season rollover. Events taking place from February onwards will need to be created once the season rollover has been completed.
