Winning follows the 22-year-old wherever she goes, starting in the Black Ferns' 34-31 victory over England in last year's Rugby World Cup.

She has only just wrapped up celebrations with Matatū after last week's Super Rugby Aupiki success and was eager to continue to run with the Brumbies.

“I had (Aupiki) Final on the Saturday, celebrated with the team and then showed up (in Canberra) on Monday so it’s been epic," she told reporters.

“It’s going to be a cool opportunity with new challenges. It’s also exciting meeting new friends and playing that different style of Rugby.

“They have a lot of detail around their forward pack so it’s really challenging in that space which is interesting.”

Brumbies coach Scott Fava jumped at the opportunity to recruit the talented tight-head to bolster their front row.

“She’s a World Cup-winning prop, started in the final and she’s young. What we need for her is to come across and help develop these young props,” Fava told rugby.com.au

“She’ll fill that gap as an obvious starter and just being engaged in a different way of thinking.

“We just pounced and asked ‘what do we have to do to get you across?’ and just wanted that opportunity, she’s professional now and wants to take all the opportunities available. She was glad we reached out and was keen to come.”

For Rule, the opportunity to experience the world and a new brand of Rugby was key as she enjoys the fruits of professionalism.

“I’m young, I wanted to see what the world has to offer. I started the conversion (back at the World Cup) and one thing led to another and now I’m here," she added.

“It’s a cool opportunity to get as many game time as you can. Everything is about opportunity and the way the women is growing and developing, more doors will open up and development pathways in different areas which is really exciting.”
