After beating the Reds last week at Ballymore, the Waratahs U15s starting XV remains unchanged as they prepare to claim victory at Easts Rugby Club on Saturday (2PM AEDT kick-off).

Beau Hobbs and Sid Maxwell will continue as vice-captains after both scoring a try-double last weekend, with Christopher Oakhill remaining as captain.

Waratahs Head of Academy & Pathways Andrew Cleverley believes the team have prepared well ahead of their match in Sydney.

“Naturally we were very pleased with the performance of the team last weekend and we felt they controlled the game very well, scoring some fantastic team tries and a few individual gems as well,” Cleverley said.

“The Waratahs U15 players and staff are well aware of complacency and the fact the Reds will bounce back from the loss.

“We know they will have analysed us and will be better prepared to defend our attack, so we have trained with that in mind. Another physical performance is required by our side to achieve our goal of clean sweep.”

Backs Karepe Faulkner, Gabe Santarossa, Joseph Duffy and Will Malone were among the seven who dotted down, resulting in a total of nine tries, and retain their places on Saturday.

A total of five conversions were made from Oatley’s Faulkner and Beecroft Barbarians’ Santarossa, leading to 50-12 as the final score.

Amongst the 24-player squad, there are only two changes, with replacements Seti Maka and Lennox Laupepa coming on to the bench.
