The Wallaroos have unveiled their First Nations jersey, set to be worn during their clash with Japan on May 10.
The jersey is designed by Noongar Artist Seantelle Walsh, depicting the connection between women and their spirit, as well as the connection with the Dreamtime and overcoming barriers.

“We have spoken a lot around how we represent Australia and our First Nations culture, and I think this jersey depicts all the key values we have in the side," Wallaroos coach Jay Tregonning said in a statement.
“Not only is this jersey significant to our current squad but to the whole women’s Rugby community in Australia, and the playing group couldn’t be more honoured to wear the strip.
“The inclusion of this jersey brings another level of importance to this upcoming match against Japan - it has added a whole other level of inspiration to everyone here in camp, and the players really feel privileged to be a part of this historic moment.”
It will be the first time in program history they will wear a First Nations kit, which will culminate a week of celebrating First Nations culture on the Gold Coast during the Wallaroos' 'Road To New Zealand' series.
