The Wallaroos will join the Wallabies for the first double header since 2024 when the two sides clash in Test matches at Accor Stadium in Sydney on October 17.

Rugby Australia can confirm the Wallaroos’ first home Test against Scotland in the WXV Global series will be played prior to the Bledisloe Test between Australia and New Zealand.

The Wallaroos will play at Accor Stadium for the first time in eight years as part of the double header fixture.

Scotland will tour Australian shores for a maiden appearance in October as part of the WXV Global series, playing the Wallaroos in two Tests on home soil.

The final Test match against Scotland will be played at GIO Stadium in Canberra on October 23 in a standalone fixture to finish the international season for the Wallaroos.

General Manager of Women’s High Performance Jilly Collins said: "We are incredibly excited to bring the Wallaroos back to Accor Stadium for the first time in eight years.

"Featuring alongside the Wallabies for a double header provides a premier stage for our players and a brilliant spectacle for Australian rugby fans.

"This home series holds extra weight as it follows our clash with Scotland in Edinburgh just a few weeks prior.

"Facing them twice on home soil - culminating in a standalone Test in Canberra – is a significant milestone for the WXV Global series.

"We are excited to see the Wallaroos’ continued growth as they conclude the international season in front of a home crowd."

The Wallaroos last played Scotland when they claimed the WXV 2 title in Cape Town in 2024.

Previously the two nations have met on four occasions since 1998 for a 4-0 record in favour of the Wallaroos.

Scotland are currently ranked sixth in the world and coached by former Wallaroos assistant Sione Fukofuka.

Details for the final away WXV Global series fixtures for 2026 will be announced by home unions in due course.
