Wallaroos vice-captain Kaitlan Leaney says the team is motivated to right the wrongs of last week's defeat to France as they prepare to face Scotland.
The Aussies have settled into Edinburgh ahead of Sunday's (AEST) first Test in a three-match series, which includes games in Sydney and Canberra in October.

They enter the contest hurting after letting slip a 19-0 lead against a French side decimated by cards.
In total, France had two red cards and three further yellows, leaving them down to 11 at one point.
Whilst the Wallaroos capitalised on the four-player advantage, they failed to contain the hosts before and after half-time as they returned to 14, leading to a disappointing 29-26 defeat.
“I think we had to really go deep into it and look internally and look at the areas that went wrong and the reality is we had opportunities there that we could capitalise on and we didn't," Leaney told reporters.
“I think we talk a lot about being process-driven and performance-based, and I think in that moment, we probably just didn't stick to our processes enough.
“Test match footy, you can't really afford to have those little slip ups.”
The Aussies are desperate for victory as they look to end a run of six losses on the trot.
But Leaney and the squad could see the growth from the tough campaign.
“I think if we look from when we started this campaign with that 100th test against New Zealand, we've had about a 20% increase in our performance each time. We've looked at every metric of the game and we've improved," she insists.
“The losses don't look good but I think if you can look deep into it and see that we are improving each week. We're playing better footy and with a lot more confidence, we’re moving the ball, defending our line really well and our set piece is going really well.
“They're things that we can really build confidence on and take into the Scotland games.”
Leaney featured in Australia's last game against Scotland, a 31-22 win in 2024 to claim the WXV 2 title.
"They're staying above us at the moment in the world rankings. We know that they have some really good outside backs that they like to utilise. They have strong set pieces that kind of breach their attacks," she added.
"The beauty is the last time we played them, it was an entertaining game and it was a great game to watch as a spectator and also a great game to be out there as a player. Looking forward to the three-test series against them, and hopefully we get the results, and we'll provide some really entertaining rugby.
