Former Australia Under 20s captain Teddy Wilson has been named in his first Wallabies squad after earning selection for the upcoming November Nations Championship Tests in the United Kingdom.

The 23-year-old scrumhalf is the son of Wallaby No. 699 David Wilson, who earned 79 caps in the Wallaby gold and featured in two Rugby World Cups, including the 1999 side that lifted the Webb Ellis Cup in Cardiff.

Wilson is joined by fellow NSW junior Tom Lambert as the two uncapped players in the 33-man squad, which will assemble in Sydney on Wednesday.

Lambert, a loosehead prop, has been rewarded for his strong performances for the NSW Waratahs in this year’s Super Rugby Pacific competition and more recently the Super Rugby AUS tournament.

With the next four Tests falling inside World Rugby’s Regulation Nine window, overseas-based forwards Taniela Tupou and Tom Hooper have been recalled to the squad, as has Hunter Paisami, who has served his suspension for a high tackle in the win against South Africa in Perth.

Flyhalf Carter Gordon has been recalled as he continues his recovery from a fractured fibula sustained in Argentina, as has dynamic lock Miles Amatosero who has also returned from injury and will play for Australia A this weekend.

Amatosero’s inclusion allows strong flexibility across the locks and backrow.

Elsewhere the squad remains consistent with the group that has featured under Les Kiss and the coaching group so far in 2026, with potential additional players to be confirmed in due course following the Australia A match against the USA on Sunday morning (AEDT).

The Wallabies will play four Tests in November - against England at Twickenham on November 8, Scotland at Murrayfield on November 15 and Wales at Principality Stadium on November 21 before the Nations Championship Finals on the last weekend in London.

The squad will depart for the UK next Saturday.

Wallabies Head Coach Les Kiss said: “There's a real buzz among the squad as we prepare for what will be four incredibly demanding matches against high-quality opposition as part of the November Nations Championship Tests.

“As coaches, we’ve made some tough selection calls to keep building depth across the board and we know a tour like this will challenge the whole squad on many levels.

“This Tour gives us another valuable opportunity to test new combinations, strengthen our existing connections and push our game forward in all areas."
