REDS SUPER RUGBY AU FORM

The Reds capped off their incredible 2021 Super Rugby AU season with a thrilling win over the Brumbies in the Final.

Throughout the regular season, Brad Thorn's men lost just once, a three-point defeat to the Force in the final round.

In front of a packed-out Suncorp Stadium, the Reds stole the win in the 85th minute via flyhalf James O'Connor, who scored all 19 points in the win.

REDS KEY FIXTURE

It doesn't get better than their Round Two clash with the Crusaders.

Champion v Champion, live on 9Gem.

The game is probably the biggest in the competition and arguably one of the biggest Super Rugby games in Australian Rugby since 2014.

A win justifies and legitimises their title aspirations along with cementing the improvements of their side and the rest of the Super Rugby AU comp.

REDS KEY PLAYER: JAMES O'CONNOR

MVP.

James O'Connor's remarkable comeback journey continues as he led the Reds to Super Rugby glory.

He was immense guiding his side around the pack both as captain and flyhalf, a position that he has made his own.

This was evident in the Final, contributing all 19 points in the 19-16 win.

He needs a big performance to guide the Reds to the top of Super Rugby Trans-Tasman.
