Nambour Toads winger Zac Zeremes has forced his way into the Queensland Reds Under-15s side for the second leg of their series against the NSW Waratahs in Sydney on Saturday.
The finisher's strong display off the bench in last Friday's pulsating 38-37 loss at Ballymore in Game One has earned him the starting spot.
He scored one of the tries of the match, at the end of a sweeping 90m team raid, and popped the final pass to centre Digby Ioane for his try.
Reds U15s head coach Sean Graham has kept in place the other 14 members of the starting side for a shot at victory in Sydney after the Ballymore result slipped away at the death.
"We were really happy with the way we played. It was just a couple of key moments we didn't win," Graham said.
"This week has been about clarity and being better prepared for those moments like either side of half-time."
Last Friday, the Reds gave up a try just before half-time and just after the break to flip from 17-12 leaders to fighting a 24-17 deficit.
Being more aware of limiting chances for dynamic try-scoring Waratahs fullback Lorima Ravouvou Seuseu is another accent for the young Reds.
"We've put the microscope over us more because we did lose which has been good to highlight a few areas," Graham said.
"We've wanted to keep some combinations which worked well for us in the first game to keep building on our scrum, lineout and maul. It has meant a few players in our squad not getting game time but everyone is helping the cause."
