The team lists for Game 1 of the North vs South Women’s Series to be played at Southern Lions RUFC on Saturday from 10am WST have been confirmed.
Saturday’s game is the first in the three-game series, geared towards identifying and developing the top female talent across WA, providing meaningful and high-quality match opportunities.
Selection was based on club performances, previous Academy involvements and talent identification from Force and RugbyWA staff. Training commenced earlier this week at Nedlands Rugby Club.

Wanneroo and Force lock Sofaia Talemaira will co-captain the North side alongside Wests Scarborough fly-half Hope Garner.
There's a family flavour to the North side as Anneka Stephens will line up at inside-centre with her daughter Kaiyi Puki starting at openside flanker.
For South, Force front-rower Keira Macaskill will captain, with Kalamunda and Force youngster Awhina Heke starting at outside-centre after winning the Sue Roberts Trophy, Women’s Top Try Scorer and Women’s Leading Points Scorer in Fortescue Premier Grade this season.
RugbySA pair Levi Verwey and Ashley John are included in the South replacements as part of the Force’s links with the association.
