The team lists have been named for Game 2 of the North vs South Women’s Series which will be played at Scotch College on Saturday as part of a double-header with the Swyftx Super Rugby AUS Grand Final.

North won the first game at Southern Lions RUFC 27-0 over South, meaning they can claim the Pomare Shield by winning Game 2.

The three-game series is geared towards identifying and developing the top female talent across WA, providing meaningful and high-quality match opportunities.

South has been boosted by the availability of capped Wallaroo Brooklyn Teki-Joyce along with 2026 Sue Trophy winner Awhina Heke, who was a late out for Game 1.

Captain Keira Macaskill has moved from the front row to number 8, with Manawatu Cyclones hooker Holly Powell coming into the side among the changes. Kalamunda half-back Journey Kereopa and RugbySA fly-half Ashley John will get opportunities to start in the playmaking roles for South.

For North, there’s a handful of starting line-up changes, with Wanneroo trio Freida Ah-Sam, Nami Dickson and Makaea Monk added along with Palmyra winger Hinemanu Tutaki coming into the XV.

Saturday’s game at Scotch College Playing Fields is free entry for all fans, who are encouraged to use public transport with parking limited at the venue due to the Perth Royal Show at nearby Claremont Showgrounds.

The game will be played as part of a double-header, with the Force-Waratahs’ Super Rugby AUS clash from 2:30pm.

The Pomare Shield game will not be live streamed, but the Grand Final will be live on rugby.com.au’s YouTube and Stan Sport.
