Sevens standouts Maddison Levi and Nathan Lawson have been honoured with the Shawn Mackay Awards as best Australia Sevens players.
Levi continues her remarkable run in the seven-a-side format, claiming back-to-back Medals.

The speedster beat out Faith Nathan and Madison Ashby in a year where she broke her own records from 2023.
Levi scored 69 tries in the world series, a record for either men or women, that could’ve been higher if not for her red card in Sydney.
She broke the record for most tries at the Paris Olympics, scoring 14 tries at the Games as they finished fourth.
Levi joins Australia Sevens captain Charlotte Caslick as multiple time winners of the award.
"It's super special, obviously I don't want to be a one time player and I want to build a career," Levi said.
"To have this consistency to put in day in and day out and keep getting better, striving to these bigger goals is something I pride myself on."
Meanwhile, Lawson claims his first after narrowly missing out in 2023.
The try-scoring wizard finished fourth in the world series with 25 tries in the 2023-24 season.
The 25-year-old was crucial in Australia’s push to the Olympic semi-finals, scoring in their bronze medal defeat to South Africa.
Lawson beat out Dietrich Roache and Ben Dowling for the award, with the Sevens sides turning their focus towards December’s SVNS opener in Dubai.
"We had Roachy (Dietrich Roache) and Dowly (Ben Dowling) up there as well so I wasn't expecting it," he said.
"I was just the pick of the draw. I'm just super grateful for this and to be named the winner after such a big prep for the Olympics."
