The omissions of Jac Morgan and Henry Pollock and the inclusion of seven Leinster stars in the starting side headline Andy Farrell's team that will take on the Wallabies in the first test this Saturday at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.
Maro Itoje will retain the captaincy, and is set to be partnered by Joe McCarthy in the engine room, with English international Ellis Genge partnering Dan Sheehan and Tadhg Furlong in the front row.

Morgan and Pollock will miss out in the loose forwards, with Tadhg Beirne, Tom Curry and Jack Conan set to make up the loose forwards, with Ollie Chessum and Ben Earl coming off the bench.
The Leinster-heavy squad also extends to the bench, with Ronan Kelleher and Andrew Porter being joined by Will Stuart to make up the back up front row.
However, Farrell has spared no expense with an imposing backline headlined by Jamison Gibson-Park and Finn Russell.
Glasgow and Scottish duo Sione Tuipulotu and Huw Jones combine once again in the centres, while Tommy Freeman, James Lowe and Hugo Keenan complete the back three.
They will be well supported on the bench by Alex Mitchell, Marcus Smith and Bundee Aki.
After a strong tour so far, the side will be looking to back up their form with a win in Brisbane - a venue the Lions have a strong record at against the Wallabies, with the men in gold having never tasted victory over the Lions in the Sunshine State's capital, dating all the way back to their first clash in 1899.
Incredibly, this match will also mark the first time not a single Welsh player has been selected in a Lions test side since that Australian tour in 1899.
“We are entering the business end of the Tour and it is time to put in our best performance to date," Andy Farrell said in an official statement.
"We know how motivated the Wallabies will be and we know they are a well organised and dangerous side. It is a great occasion and a proud moment for Maro Itoje, who will captain the Test side, but also for those players who get the opportunity to represent the group on Saturday night.
"We have seen a flood of Lions supporters on the streets of Brisbane this week and we are looking forward to seeing a Sea of Red in the stands of the Suncorp Stadium cheering on the team.”
