Flyer Piper Flynn is drawing on the expertise of one of Australia Rugby's greatest, Shannon Parry, as she prepares for a potential Wallaroos debut.
Flynn was named on the bench for Sunday's match against France in Aix-en-Provence, continuing the WXV Global Series.

The 23-year-old has transitioned between the Sevens and 15s program, with 2016 Rio gold medalist Parry guiding her throughout the journey.
Parry brought Flynn to Easts Rugby Club in Brisbane and instantly fell in love with it after initially playing Sevens on the Gold Coast.
A debut for the Queensland Reds followed in 2025, earning a call-up for Australia A against Samoa.
"She's such a cross-code being able to play 15s and sevens, and having her around the QAS program and around the club, she's been a real mentor for me, and I know a lot of the other girls," Flynn said.
"She's really been a role model for me and been a really good one too."
Flynn shared the excitement with good mate and fellow Red Ava Wereta, back on the bench for her third cap of 2026.
"I was sitting next to Ava and I was in Ava's ear thinking that she was going to be number 22. I was like calling her name and then they said on debut and then said my name and I was very shocked," she smiled.
"This has been one of my goals for the longest time to play for Australia so for it to finally happen was a really surreal moment."
Wallaroos teammate Samantha Wood has little doubt Flynn has what it takes to make a difference when called upon.
"She had an incredible Super season," Wood remarked.
"She's incredibly fast down that edge there, so I can't wait for her to take the field. At training, she's been listening and learning and I think this is her first full campaign with us so opportunities land in front of her and she's definitely going to take it."
