New Wallabies coach Les Kiss has reiterated Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii will remain in the centres as he resists the urge to call for further overseas impact.
The conjecture around Suaalii's best position has been a hot topic ever since the cross-code convert came into the sport.

He has predominantly been used at outside centre; however, he was named in Super Rugby Pacific's Team of the Year in 2025.
This has led many to suggest a permanent move for Suaalii at Test level, with former coach Joe Schmidt keeping him in the midfield.
Kiss shared a similar view, although he was open to future moves if needed.
“I had a meeting with Joseph yesterday...He’s a big lad when you get really close to him, but he’s a super athlete," Kiss said.
"He’s a good footballer on many levels. I will be persisting at 13 with him at this stage, but I know that he can go to [fullback] and wing, and that’s important to acknowledge as well.”
Kiss has named just one overseas player in Taniela Tupou, with Tom Hooper (shoulder) ruled out.
There was a suggestion Kiss could turn to former Reds star Jordan Petaia, who returned to Rugby Union at the end of last year.
Petaia returned to the Top 14 with Perpignan, yet is set to move to a Japanese club in the coming months.
Playmakers such as Noah Lolesio and Bernard Foley have been linked in previous weeks, with Kiss considering picking overseas players in the future.
"Jordy's there, working away and we'll keep looking at him," Kiss said.
“There'll be conversations that we'll have with the coaches first and then we'll talk to the right people about where we go with that. We want the right players to be here and those that can make a difference and give us what we need in games.
"I won't be afraid to look overseas, but ... respect what we've got here."
