New Wallabies call-up James Ramm could be preparing for the Los Angeles Olympics to represent several different nations.
Instead, Ramm is back home in Australia, looking to nail down a spot in the national set-up as the team prepares to head to the UK for the Nations Championship.

The once-highly rated gymnast was a surprise addition to the Wallabies squad, impressing for Northampton and Northland in the English Premiership and New Zealand's NPC.
Ramm helped the Saints reach the European Cup Final in 2015 and did the same for Northland in the NPC this year, scoring six tries in a four game stretch.
The new Western Force signing caught the eye of both nations, with an English dad and a Kiwi mum, but has always been committed to the gold jersey.
"My household at the World Cup, it's scattered around the place but I think growing up in Australia, this is my home. I started playing rugby here; all my friends and family are here. This is my connection," he said from Sydney.
"Being back home under blue skies right now, it’s been really beautiful and it really feels like home.
"[England] was more of a sort of a wider squad, we're looking at you type of conversation. It always helps to get a bit more advice on different things that different coaches look at and I learned a lot from the rugby over there."
Ramm is a comparatively late bloomer to representative rugby after initially pursuing the dream of being a gymnast.
He competed in all six apparatus [floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar], training multiple times a day close to his home in Epping.
The flashpoint to play Rugby came during his schooling days at St Joseph’s but even then, Ramm was playing second and third XV. Ramm eventually caught attention while playing Colts for Randwick and was named in the Junior Wallabies in 2018.
"[Olympics] was definitely the plan," he explained .
"I probably didn’t know what rugby was...It was the decision to keep doing gymnastics or go to Joey's, couldn't really do both and gymnastics was pretty overwhelming. The training, I think you're four hours every afternoon, you've got three mornings a week, Saturday all day. It's a lot for a young kid. I really enjoyed it, but I'm happy I made my decision and loved my time at Joey's, where rugby started.
"I'm a big advocate for [playing multiple sports]. It really set me up for so many different aspects to take into any sport. The Olympics was a dream but I’ll tell you, I’m happy to be standing here now."
If all goes right for Ramm, the outside back could line up against his old teammates on Monday at Twickenham, including maverick back-rower Henry Pollock.
Ramm had some wise advice for his new Wallabies teammates as they prepare to leave the sun of Sydney for the British Isles.
"Pack every jacket you have. It is freezing, horrible. I've told them to soak this [sun] all up because they won't be seeing this for a little while," he said and laughed.
