The Wallabies have confirmed the following players will head back to Australia after picking up injuries in last night’s three-point loss to Ireland in Dublin that will rule them out of the side’s final Test of the year against Wales next weekend.

After creating a solid impact in his opening two scrums, prop Taniela Tupou suffered a suspected ruptured Achilles, while Rob Valetini will get scans on an injured ankle picked up early in the second half.

Inside centre Hunter Paisami will also require scans on his knee, which forced him from Aviva Stadium last night after just three minutes.

David Porecki suffered a criteria one concussion in the first half of the match and will serve a mandatory 12-day stand down period, while Andrew Kellaway looks to have sustained a fracture to his fifth metatarsal that will be scanned back in Australia.

After initially being passed of his HIA by the independent Match Day Doctor, Nic White’s criteria two HIA (where diagnosis not immediately apparent) has been upgraded to a criteria one assessment (balance disturbance) post-match and will also serve a 12-day stand down period. White was not exhibiting any symptoms of concussion post-match or the following day.
