HBF Park is set to come alive under lights in 2027, with Friday night footy returning to Perth for the first time in five years.

The Western Force will play three Friday night fixtures at HBF Park during the 2027 Swyftx Super Rugby Pacific season, giving the Sea of Blue three opportunities to kick off the weekend together.

The Force will welcome the ACT Brumbies to HBF Park in Round 2 on Friday 19 February with kick-off at 6pm AWST.

The Club will host two other Friday night games, with details to be revealed when the full 2027 season fixture is unveiled on Tuesday.

Force director of strategic projects Matt Hodgson said: “To open our Friday night campaign against the Brumbies in Perth is exactly the type of fixture we wanted. The Brumbies are one of the competition’s benchmark teams and there’s always an edge when they come to HBF Park

“Friday night, under lights, in front of the Sea of Blue - it’s going to be a fantastic way to start the weekend and a great occasion for our Members and supporters.

“We want to create a season full of moments that our Members and supporters will remember.”

While the full fixture for the 2027 season will be revealed on Tuesday, it was already confirmed on Friday that the Force will face the Chiefs in Christchurch on Saturday 3 April for Super Round in Round 8.
