The ACT Brumbies Super Rugby Women’s side has named a squad stacked with talent for its first trial hit-out of 2026, taking on the Queensland Reds this Sunday at Brumbies HQ at the University of Canberra, kick-off at 1PM AEST.

The extended squad features an exciting mix of Wallaroos experience, proven performers and emerging local talent as the Brumbies gear up for the 2026 Super Rugby Women’s season.

Head Coach James Erwin has named five current Wallaroos in the squad, with Martha Fua, Millie Parker, Chioma Enyi, Ella Ryan and Lily Bone all selected. Ryan recently made her Wallaroos debut during the Pacific Four Series, while Bone earned her first international cap against Fijiana at GIO Stadium earlier this month.

New signing Ivania Wong headlines an impressive crop of recruits joining the club in 2026, alongside former Waratahs hooker Parker and Spanish international Anne Fernandez De Corres.

The Brumbies have also continued to invest heavily in local pathways, with academy graduates Thalia Uilelea, Paua Lee Going, Jane Morrison, Makenna Ravouvou and Georgie Hayes all earning opportunities in the senior environment.

Hayes and Merania Paraone head into the season full of confidence after being named in the Next Gen 7s Team of the Year following standout campaigns in the Brumbies Sevens program.

There is also a strong Emerging Brumbies Squad presence throughout the group, with Clementine Utumapu, Chanel Williams, Sonrae Lui, Sharlize Campbell and Kyah Little all selected as the club continues to build depth across the program.

Additional new faces joining the squad for 2026 include Linda Emelio and Rayna Ellis from the Australian Defence Force, as well as Savannah Roberts-Hickling, a graduate of the Indigenous Pathways Program.

The squad is rounded out by returning contributors Jess Grant, Grace Sullivan, Bonnie Brewer, Ash Bishop and Iris Verebelavu, giving the side a strong balance of experience and exciting young talent heading into the new campaign.

Sunday’s clash against the Queensland Reds is the first chance for Brumbies fans to check out the new-look squad in action ahead of the 2026 season, with kick-off scheduled for 1pm at Brumbies HQ, University of Canberra.

Get out to UC on Sunday and back the girls as they kick off another Super W campaign — plenty of fresh faces, plenty of firepower, and a great chance to catch the next generation of Brumbies talent up close.
