Flyhalf Tom Lynagh is among several set to push for a Wallabies return as coach Stephen Larkham confirms a highly experienced squad for the USA tour.
Queensland Reds hooker Matt Faessler will lead Australia A, one of 12 capped Wallabies named for the matches against the Eagles in Nashville (October 24) and New Jersey (October 30).

The hooker skippered the side last year in their thumping win over a Japan XV in Osaka, and last played for the Wallabies against France to finish 2025.
Meanwhile, flyhalf Lynagh continues his return from injury, named for his return to international action.
The eight-cap Wallaby missed most of the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific season with injury, but featured for the Reds in Super Rugby AUS.
He'll likely split time with Brumbies playmaker Tane Edmed, with the pair hunting for Test returns after starting for the Wallabies in 2025.
Reds teammates Kalani Thomas and Zane Nonggorr, along with Toby Macpherson, are among several in the Wallabies camp heading to the States for more game time.
Thomas came off the bench during the draw against Argentina in Mendoza, whilst Nonggorr returned to the squad during the Springboks Test.
ACT Brumbies trio Nick Frost, Corey Toole and Kadin Pritchard will also make the trip after being called in for the Bledisloe Cup series.
Frost has covered for an injured Josh Canham, while Toole and Pritchard were called in on Sunday after injuries to Len Ikitau and Josh Canham.
2026 Test debutant Miles Amatosero has also been named, becoming Wallaby #998 against Italy.
Fellow Waratah Luke Reimer is also included alongside former Australia U20 captain Eamon Doyle.
It's Doyle's first senior national squad selection, joined by Perth junior Nathan Hastie after the ex-Highlander had an impressive Super Rugby AUS campaign.
“It’s pleasing to pull together such a strong group of players for what will be a testing Tour against genuine international opposition," coach Larkham said, set to be joined by former Wallabies boss Joe Schmidt as part of the coaching team.
“A lot of the players selected have performed well across Super Rugby AUS and to have a number of Wallabies in the mix shows the depth that is being created across the Australian Rugby system.”
The Australia A squad will depart for the USA on October 18.
