Head Coach Stephen Larkham has named a side ready to bounce back after two narrow defeats, with several players returning from rest or the bench.

Lachie Shaw will not be available for selection due to an illness, opening the door for new combinations in the pack. In the backs, Hudson Creighton starts at inside centre, replacing David Feliuai, who is sidelined following a head injury assessment. Speedster Corey Toole returns on the wing after missing the past two matches with a quad complaint, adding another level of dynamism to the Brumbies’ backline.

ACT Brumbies vs Chiefs

The Brumbies tight-five of Slipper, Billy Pollard, Darcy Breen, Nick Frost, and Cadeyrn Neville, have dusted their shoulders off and are ready to knuckle down against the travelling side.

The backrow of Rob Valetini, Rory Scott, and Charlie Cale will look to dominate the breakdown and add punch out wide.

Ryan Lonergan and Declan Meredith resume their partnership in the halves, ready to steer a furious looking Brumbies backline. Out wide, Creighton, Kadin Pritchard, Toole, Kye Oates, and Andy Muirhead bring genuine gas that can unsettle any defence.

The finishers The finishers Liam Bowron,  Blake Schoupp,  Tevita Alatini,  Toby Macpherson, Luke Reimer, Klayton Thorn, Tane Edmed, and Austin Anderson will be tasked with steadying the ship and sailing the team home in the final stages.
