The Wallabies have confirmed flyhalf Carter Gordon has suffered a fractured fibula during their 28-all draw against Argentina.
Gordon has returned home to Australia for rehab and will miss the Springboks Test in Perth as well as very likely the Bledisloe Cup series.

The injury happened late in the contest in Mendoza, with the Reds playmaker copping a blow as he took the ball to the line.
Gordon, who came off the bench, was quickly replaced after the Wallabies levelled the scores, with the lack of replacements forcing Ryan Lonergan into flyhalf.
"He just had a blow on his leg, lower limb, by contact on the lower limb," coach Les Kiss said post-match.
"We’re just going to get that checked out properly with some scans hopefully over the next few hours and hopefully we’ve got some information in the morning.“
Gordon's absence comes at a timely period for contenders ahead of Saturday's Super Rugby AUS opening round.
Former teammates Tom Lynagh and Harry McLauglin-Phillips are expected to start for their respective teams as McLauglin-Phillips prepares for his Western Force debut at Ballymore.
McLauglin-Phillips is coming off a brilliant season at Queensland club level for Wests and was called in as cover for Gordon during the Nations Championship.
Veteran James O'Connor could also make his case at the Force, providing a veteran presence after re-joining the club last week.
Meanwhile, Lynagh is set for just his second match of the year at all levels after a frustrating run of injuries.
Lynagh, who started for the Wallabies throughout the 2025 British & Irish Lions tour, recorded a lone appearance from the bench for the Reds in 2026.
Tane Edmed is another option as he prepares to turn out for the ACT Brumbies against the NSW Waratahs on Sunday.
