Australia Sevens trio Bridget Clark, Mackenzie Davis and Alysia Lefau-Fakaosilea and will remain in gold after signing contract extensions ahead of the 2026-2027 HSBC SVNS season.
Clark will eye a second Olympics campaign in Los Angeles after agreeing to a two-year contract while Davis and Lefau-Fakaosilea are retained for another 12 months.
South Sydney product Clark grew up in Oakley before coming through the Sevens junior program with Sydney University, playing alongside the likes of teammate Ruby Nicholas and Wallaroos pair Piper Duck and Faitala Moleka.
Her rapid rise became a reality when she was selected for the Paris Olympics a few months later, capping a dream 2024 season.
Lefau-Fakaosilea, who made a return to XVs rugby for the first time in seven years with the Wallaroos last month, has overcome injury in recent years to make a strong return to the field.
Lefau-Fakaosilea first played for Australia with the Wallaroos in 2019, making her XVs debut against Japan in Newcastle before moving into the Australia Sevens squad.
The ferocious speedster made her 7s debut against the Black Ferns in 2021 and was later called into the Tokyo Olympics squad.
Davis was a touch football star, representing Australia at the Mixed Open World Cup before joining the Sevens program in 2023.
Davis then played her first official game of Rugby at the Youth Commonwealth Games trials last August, eventually helping Australia to gold.
She made her SVNS debut in Cape Town in 2024, scoring 16 tries in 25 games during her maiden season to earn rookie of the year honours at the Rugby Australia Awards.
Director of Women’s High Performance Tim Walsh said: "Alysia made a successful return from injury this year and we saw her impact during Australia's World Championship-winning season. She is a complete rugby player applying her trade across both formats with abrasive intent and silky skills.
"Mackenzie is developing well and her lightning footwork, explosive speed, and fearless intent among her elite sevens attributes. A couple of seasons into her professional career, Mackenzie is ready to flourish.
"Bridget is a star in waiting. She embodies the team culture and values and possesses the power, skill, and endurance of a world class sevens player. We are delighted to have locked her in through to the Olympics progressing her into a bigger role in 2027."
Davis is currently competing in the Ultimate Sevens while Clark and Lefau-Fakaosilea will return to Sevens pre-season training in October ahead of the HSBC SVNS season.
