Australia have once again claimed the 2023 Youth Commonwealth Games Rugby Sevens after dominating the competition.
The Australians secured gold with a 50-0 win over Canada in the Final in Trinidad and Tobago.

Shannon Parry's side conceded just two tries over the three-day tournament, amounting to a points difference of +206.
"The girls had a fantastic few days and played some really high quality football, especially in the final," said Parry in a statement.
"Led by Ava Wereta and Piper Simons, the team built on each win, which is particularly impressive when you consider that some of the athletes had backed up from world tours last year to make their debut here at Trinbago 2023.
"I'm exceptionally proud of this team - we came here to do a job, and the job's done: we secured the third consecutive Youth Commonwealth Games Gold Medal for Australia.
"It's a hugely exciting generation of Sevens players coming through - the future is really bright and the depth is there in Australian Women's Rugby."
It began with a 71-0 thumping of Trinidad and Tobago, with tournament standout Piper Simons crossing for a hat-trick.
This was backed up by wins over Canada (33-0) and Wales (26-7) before sweeping through Kenya 45-0.
They secured their place in the gold medal match with a 43-5 win over Fiji as Amahli-Sieli Hala scored a double whilst Ava Wereta contributed 11 points.
It booked a rematch with the Canadians, who edged out FIji 19-17 thanks to a late second-half try.
Riding high from their dominant pool performances, the Australians never looked like being caught as Heidi Dennis scored from the kick-off, beating nearly every Canadian defender in a brilliant run to score inside 20 seconds.
Hala and Simons crossed to give Parry's side a 21-0 lead at the break before kicking clear in the second half.
Mackenzie Davis scored immediately after the second-half siren as Simons crossed for her second.
Tries to Rhani Hagan, Leilani Hills and Jada Damita Betham sealed the rout, continuing Australia's unbeaten run at the Youth Comm Games.
“It was such a good game, we really showed our sisterhood out there, played for each other, played for our family and played for ourselves, so it was really good,” Wereta said via Comm Games Australia.
“This was definitely our best game, and all of our games were a bit challenging. We all had things we needed to work on each game and the final today tipped it off for us.”
"It’s amazing, we’ve worked so hard and to finally get on the field together it’s awesome, the best feeling ever,” Simons added.
