The NSW Waratahs Women are pleased to announce the return of Super Rugby W champion Arabella McKenzie after her short stint in the UK with the Harlequins.

McKenzie who debuted for the club in 2019 went on to win three Super Rugby W titles in her three years. She also earned herself Super Rugby W player of the year at the 2022 NSW Waratahs Awards night.

McKenzie returned to Rugby Australia and the end of 2023 to compete in the Pacific Four and WXV 1 series.

In the UK McKenzie transitioned from a dominant Fly-half specialist into a second ball option, inside-centre. This was on full show during the Pacific Four and the WXV 1 Series.

Head Coach Mike Ruthven is excited to have McKenzie back in the side, saying,

"Bella McKenzie has developed herself into a world-class player and her experience surpasses her 24 years.

Bella has a great mind for the game, and a diverse skill set, and will be hugely influential to our success. She has great respect amongst the team, and we are excited to have her back in Sky Blue for 2024."
