They are boosted by the return of Wallabies Allan Alaalatoa and Lachlan Lonergan, with Alaalatoa named to start on his first appearance in 2026.
Scrumhalf Ryan Lonergan will bring up 100 caps for the club, with Billy Pollard making it 50.
For the Highlanders, they need a win to stay in touch with the top six, currently sitting in eighth.
