Rebels squad hooker Robbie Abel helped Gordon to a drought-breaking win over the Western Sydney Two Blues on Saturday.

Mack Mason kicked eight points for Easts in a loss to Manly while his NSW teammate, prop Cody Walker, found himself in the bin midway for team infringements.

Mammoth second rower Le Roux Roets came off the bench for Manly in the match.

Aussie Sevens speedster John Porch crossed for Norths in a statement 44-14 win over Eastwood.

Southern Districts finished the round on top of the ladder with a narrow 24-17 win over Randwick, with a side that included Waratahs prop Sham Vui.

Waratahs forward Lachie Swinton started for reigning champions Sydney Uni, who bounced back from an indifferent opening two weeks to trounce Warringah 50-0.
