Arnold takes out Brett Robinson award

Lock Rory Arnold has taken out the Brumbies' Brett Robinson award for 2018.

Arnold was voted by his teammates as the best Brumbies player after an impressive year in Super Rugby.

The 27-year-old played 14 Super Rugby matches in 2018, missing two matches with suspension.

Arnold joins a long list of decorated Brumbies players to win the top award, with winger Henry Speight and flyhalf Christian Lealiifano the most recent winners.

Prop Allan Alaalatoa took out the best forward gong while Tom Banks nabbed the best back.

Banks was voted by Brumbies fans as the best player of 2018 after a breakout season in Canberra.

Wallabies debutant Folau Faingaa took out the Shawn Mackay Outstanding Young Talent award.

Lochie McCaffrey's work in the rugby landscape was recognised with the Community Player of the Year.

Georgia O'Neill was named Super W player of the year.
