A disappointed Tolu Latu and Dane Haylett-Petty fronted the media to discuss their series loss against Ireland.

David Pocock and Conor Murray went up against each other in June but this is far from the first time the duo have crossed paths.

The star Australian flanker revealed the pair's remarkable relationship in an Instagram post on Sunday, Pocock billeted to the Murray family when the Australian Schoolboys ventured to Limerick to face Ireland in 2005.

"When this photo was taken I don't think @conormurray9 or I were thinking we'd go on to face each other in Test rugby," Pocock wrote..

"Great to catch up after the game.

"Congrats on the win and enjoy the off season!"

The pair swapped jerseys post match and Pocock's post has even caught the attention of his teammates on the 2005 tour - Quade Cooper, Kurtley Beale and James Hanson all enjoying a laugh in the comments.

Pocock, Cooper, Beale and Hanson are just a few of the future stars in that Australian Schools side - Peter Betham, Ben Daley, Christian Lealiifano, Ben Lucas, Pat McCutcheon, Ben McCalman and Sam Wykes all earning caps as well.
