Tom Cusack will return to the Brumbies' starting lineup against the Highlanders on Saturday night.

Cusack will start at blindside flanker in place of the injury Locky McCaffrey, who dislocated his elbow against the Reds last weekend.

Tuggeranong flanker Michael Oakman-Hunt, who has signed a short-term deal with the Brumbies to cover McCaffrey, could make his debut in the match, named on the bench.

Nic Mayhew and Andrew Smith are the two other changes on the bench, replacing Faalalei Sione and James Verity-Amm, respectively.

The Brumbies will be the first Australian team to make the trip to New Zealand in 2018, as they look to buck a 0-27 trans-Tasman tally, dating back to 2016.

The Brumbies take on the Highlanders in Dunedin, kicking off at 7:35pm local, 5:35pm AEST, LIVE on FOX SPORTS.
