The Classic Wallabies' Hong Kong Tens campaign is over, after a loss in the Bowl semi-final.

Their Scottish Exiles opponents had the better of the match, with three tries to one for the match, ending Australia's hopes of clinching any silverware.

Though they had more possession in the second half, and looked more dangerous as time ticked on, but they couldn't keep the ball in hand enough to eke back the advantage.

The loss means the Classic Wallabies are out of contention for the Bowl final, and will not play another match in the tournament.

The Classic Wallabies have come out firing on day two of the Hong Kong Tens, putting together their most complete performance of the tournament to defeat Hong Kong Football Club 39-5 in their Bowl quarter-final.

HKFC had some quality in their ranks, including former Melbourne Rising hooker Mitch Andrews and former Aussie Sevens playmaker Josh Coward, but the Classics mixed patient attack with pace out wide to run in seven tries.

Henry Hutchison picked up where he left off on Day One to snare a hat trick, while crowd favourites Wendell Sailor and Stephen Hoiles joined Francis Fainifo and Peter Kimlin in getting on the trysheet.

Kimlin’s try was the best of five scored in the second half, getting through 10 sets of hands before a final offload from Fred Dorrough, who had three try assists.

The Classic Wallabies will play in their Bowl semi-final against Taikoo Place Scottish Exiles at 4pm AEST.

11:14am - Half-time - Classic Wallabies 12 - HKFC 5

The Classic Wallabies have a tight lead over HKFC going into half-time in the Hong Kong Tens.

Henry Hutchison nabbed a first-half double for the Aussies, with his Rebels teammate David Horwitz converting one of those to give the Classics an advantage.

HKFC hit back in between Hutchison's two scores, to keep things tight in the first stanza.
