Christian Lealiifano will make his first start in almost two years for the Brumbies on Wednesday, when he lines up at 10 in their final trial.

Lealiifano has played just one Super Rugby game since being diagnosed with Leukaemia in August 2016, coming off the bench in their Super Rugby quarter-final in July last year.

The 30-year-old will line up at 10, outside 2017 Wallabies debutant Joe Powell, in a strong Brumbies lineup that includes plenty of their Test stars.

Wallabies Scott Sio, Allan Alaalatoa, Rory Arnold, Tevita Kuridrani and Henry Speight will all start for the Brumbies in the trial against the Chiefs at Sunshine Coast Stadium.

Lachie McCaffrey has been given the first crack at the number seven jersey, combining with Rob Valetini and Isi Naisarani in the backrow.

The Brumbies take on the Chiefs on Wednesday night in their final Super Rugby trial, kicking off at 7pm local, 8pm AEDT, LIVE streamed at brumbies.com.au.
