Timani extends with Clermont

Lock Sitaleki Timani has become the latest capped Wallaby to extend his European contract.

Timani has re-signed with reigning French Top 14 champions Clermont, after establishing a regular place in their side in the past two years

The 31-year-old has 18 Test caps, the most recent coming in 2013, and played Super Rugby for the Force, Brumbies and Waratahs before moving to France.

He is the older brother of Wallabies no. 8 Lopeti, who has racked up 11 Tests since his 2016 debut.

Timani's re-signing was some good news in a dark season for Clermont, with the French powerhouse battling an injury crisis in their inside backs.
