Friends, family and the public will have the opportunity to honour the life of former Wallaby Dan Vickerman, at a memorial service next week.

Sydney Uni Oval No. 1, the home ground of a club Vickerman remained closely connected to until his passing, will host the service on Wednesday March 1 at 2pm.

A wake will be held after the service at the SUSFC function room, TASG Foundation Grandstand at Sydney University Football Ground (No 2. Oval).

Parking will be very limited around the campus, with the public encouraged to travel by public transport.

Teammates, opponents, coaches and fans have all paid tribute to Vickerman since news of his passing, sharing their memories of a treasured member of the rugby fraternity.
