Wallabies fans across the country will have free access to this weekend's Ireland Test, with SBS confirming it has secured the rights to the pivotal match.

SBS had already secured the free-to-air rights to the France and England Tests in the tour, but the remainder od the matches were set to be broadcast solely on Foxtel's beInSports 3 (Foxtel Channel 515.

The move means that three of the five Spring Tour matches will be shown on free-to-air TV, after initially being in danger of none being available on Australian TV and then only on Foxtel.

Australia has won its first three Tests of the tour, including the Grand Slam matches against Wales and Scotland.

This weekend's Test will be the toughest challenge so far, coach Michael Cheika has said, with Ireland a major threat after knocking off the All Blacks for the first time in their history, ending New Zealand's record winning run in the process.

The Irish have been hit with injuries, including the loss of playmaker Jonny Sexton, but the Wallabies have been adamant they won't be getting ahead of themselves.

Australia vs Ireland will be shown LIVE on SBS and SBS HD as well as Foxtel's beIn Sports 3 ( Foxtel channel 515), starting from 4:15am AEDT.
