The NSW Country Eagles will take their final four clash to Newcastle next weekend, the club announced on Friday.

The ladder-leading Eagles are the only side guaranteed of hosting a semi-final heading into the last regular round of the NRC, and they'll continue to take their games across the state.

This year's competition favourites have taken every home game to regional venues, playing a match in Tamworth, with the only setback being a washed-out match in Orange.

Sydney are the most likely to join the Eagles as semi-final hosts, but the Rays need to ensure they stay ahead of the chasing pack.

NSW Country will play their semi-final on October 15 at 3pm at Newcastle Sports Ground.
