NRC: Buildcorp National Rugby Championship: Round one review

Round one of the Buildcorp National Rugby Championship has wrapped up with a total of 35 tries being scored across the four matches with 66 non Super Rugby players getting experience on a National stage. 

Round two commences this Thursday night with the People Culture Strategies Greater Sydney Rams taking on University of Canberra Vikings at Pirtek Stadium in Parramatta with the match to be broadcast live on FOX SPORTS 2HD & 2.

RESULTS

Match: Brisbane City v Sydney Stars

Venue: Ballymore Stadium, Brisbane  

Result: Brisbane City 45 defeated the Sydney Stars 20.  

Match: UC Vikings v Property Club Perth Spirit

Venue: Viking Park, Canberra

Result: UC Vikings 23 were defeated by Perth Spirit 28

Match: Charles Sturt University NSW Country Eagles v People Culture Strategies Greater Sydney Rams

Venue: Coogee Oval, Sydney

Result: NSW Country Eagles 31 defeated Greater Sydney Rams 2

Match: Melbourne Rising v Macquarie University North Harbour Rays

Venue: AAMI Park, Melbourne  

Result: Melbourne Rising 55 defeated North Harbour Rays 34

Thursday 28 August – 7:30pm AEST: Greater Sydney Rams v UC Vikings, Pirtek Stadium, Sydney - FOXSPORTS 2 & FOXSPORTS 2HD

Saturday 30 August – 3:00pm AEST: Queensland Country v NSW Country Eagles, Bond University, Gold Coast

Sunday 31 August – 3:00pm AEST: Sydney Stars v Melbourne Rising, Leichhardt Oval, Sydney

Sunday 31 August – 3:30pm AWST: Perth Spirit v Brisbane City, University of Western Australia, Perth
