Gardner and O'Brien appointed to IRB 2014 JWC fixtures

The IRB has announced its match officials list for the second stage of the 2014 IRB Junior World Championships overnight, with two Australians appointed to referee two of the games in New Zealand on Sunday.

Sydney-born Angus Gardner has been appointed to the sudden death Semi-Final clash between England and Ireland at QBE Stadium in Auckland (ko 17:05 local time). Matt O'Brien, meanwhile, will take charge of the 5th Place Semi-Final between Wales and France at ECOLight Stadium in Pukekohe (ko 17:35 local time).

Both Gardner and O'Brien have already refereed two matches at the 2014 IRB Junior World Championships to date.

Australia plays Samoa in its 5th Place Semi-Final clash with Samoa on Sunday (ko 14:35 local time).
