Junior Gold Cup prize winners annoucned

Australian Rugby Union CEO Bill Pulver has announced the winners of the Junior Gold Cup Fundraiser. As a part of the fundraising efforts of our Junior Gold Cup competition, players and families were encouraged to engage with the community to sell raffle tickets for three amazing prizes.

First prize was a return Qantas Flight for two to any capital city within Australia and three nights’ accommodation at an IHG Hotel. Second prize was a 50 inch Samsung Smart TV and third prize was 500 dollars’ worth of Asics apparel and Footwear.

The winners were as follows:

First Prize- Mike Sherrin

Second Prize-Rob Seinato- Aspley, Brisbane

Third Prize- May Baravi

Australian Rugby thanks all those who participated in the fundraiser.

The Junior Gold Cup continues with the Grand Finals this weekend with Western Australia playing Victoria in the Under 17s age group in Perth at 11am WST on Saturday. The Under 15s match between Brisbane Purple and Victoria will be played at Suncorp stadium as a curtain raiser to the St.George Queensland Reds- Western Force clash.

The Under 15s Grand Final will also be streamed live from 4.40pm AEST on redsrugby.com.au.
