Australian schools Presidents XV named to play Tongan schools

The Australian Schools Presidents XV side has been named to face the Tongan Schools side at St. Ignatius’ College, Riverview on Saturday 7 July.

The side comprises members of Division II sides competing in the Novotel Australian Schools Rugby Championships being held in Sydney this week.

Players from the Lloyd McDermott Rugby Development Team’s National Indigenous side dominated selections, earning 11 of the 23 jerseys on offer for the match.

Just one day remains in the Championships, with competition wrapping up prior to the Presidents XV v Tongan Schools this Saturday at 2:30pm.
