The International Rugby Board has announced the Match Officials for the Rugby World Cup 2011 semi-finals.

Ireland’s Alain Rolland, referee of the RWC 2007 final, will take charge of Wales v France at Eden Park, Auckland, on Saturday, 15 October while South Africa’s Craig Joubert will preside over Australia v New Zealand at the same venue on Sunday, 16 October.

Rolland will be joined by assistant referees Jonathan Kaplan (South Africa) and Wayne Barnes (England), while Nigel Owens (Wales) and Romain Poite (France) will support Joubert as assistant referees.

The appointments were made by the IRB's Match Official Selection Committee in Auckland on Monday following a thorough review of quarter-final performances.

Appointments for the Final and Bronze Final will be made on Monday, 17 October.
