The Australian Rugby Union today welcomed New South Wales Premier Mike Baird’s announcement today that the NSW Government will invest $600 million in stadia infrastructure from 2017-18.

Our players regularly compete in some of the best sporting venues in the world and we are delighted that they will have the opportunity to match this experience in Sydney.

We also want to ensure our fans have a terrific match day experience through world-class facilities with access to the latest technology.

We believe our stadia network in NSW requires significant investment to maximise the match-day experience for players and fans and are excited by the opportunities this investment presents.

We look forward to working with the NSW Government to ensure that Rugby players and fans benefit from this investment in Sydney’s stadia infrastructure.
