After securing four wins and a draw from their 9 game tour of Australia the Tonga A, Fiji Warriors and Samoa A sides found the going a little bit harder in New Zealand managing to secure just 1 win from 9 games.

After a shocking start to the New Zealand tour that saw all three Pacific Island teams beaten by more than 30 points the three sides regrouped to narrow the gap in the final two rounds.

It wasn’t until the last round that Samoa A was able to break the Pacific Island duck in New Zealand over-coming the Chiefs Development side by a solitary point.
