The Queensland Reds returned to form in round 14, leading to seven selections in the Australian Super Rugby Team of the Week.

key PERFORMANCES

James O’Connor - Had a superb game for the Reds, playing at fullback for the first time season. O’Connor had a game high 160 run metres, and performed well with the boot to score 16 points and help his side to a huge victory over the Melbourne Rebels.

Sefanaia Naivalu - Came out of blocks firing, scoring a 70m runaway try inside the opening five minutes. It didn’t end there for the flying Fijian who had a double by halftime to give his side a 17-11 lead. Not bad for a bloke who was playing club Rugby this time last year….

Liam Gill – Another workman-like performance from Gill who leads the competition for pilfers this season, with 12! Gill was the standout forward for the Reds in a winning side, as he continues to put the pressure on his competition, in search of a Wallabies spot. His match was capped off with a rolling-maul try in the 68th minute.
